Wal-Mart Week Generator Excel Addin
BASE2 Software is pleased to offer to the Wal-Mart vendor community the following Excel Addin.
DESCRIPTION: The WMWEEKGenerator.xla is an Excel Addin which makes available a WMWEEK() function to the user.
HOW IT WORKS: The function is very versatile and can be used in many ways. Listed below
=WMWEEK() - Returns the current Wal-Mart Week for todays date.
=WMWEEK("1/1/2007") - Returns the Wal-Mart week for the date passed to the function.
=WMWEEK(A1) - Returns the Wal-Mart week for date in Cell A1
=WMWEEK(NOW() -7) - Returns the Previous Wal-Mart week. (the -7 will subtract 7 days from todays date).
How else you use it is completely up to you!

Example Macros - Two Excel macros that demonstrate how to programmatically use the WMWEEKGenerator. Just copy these macros into your Personal Macro Workbook in Excel. You are free to modify them or use them as they are.

HOW TO INSTALL (OFFICE 2003)
- Save the WMWEEKGenerator.xla file to your desktop or other common file area.
- Open Excel then access the Addins manager under Tools -> Addins menu.
- Hit the Browse button and select the .xla file you saved. Hit OK.
- If you are prompted to copy the file to your addins folder select yes so that the Addin will be loaded every time you start Excel.
- Make sure the "BASE2 Software Wal-Mart Week Generator" Addin is checked.
- Done.
HOW TO INSTALL (OFFICE 2007)
- Save the WMWEEKGenerator.xla file to a folder on your laptop
- Open Excel 2007, then go to Excel Options, then Add-Ins
- At the bottom where it says "Manage: Excel Add-ins" select the Go button
- Hit the Browse button and select the .xla file you saved. Hit OK.
- If you are prompted to copy the file to your addins folder select yes so that the Addin will be loaded every time you start Excel.
- Make sure the "BASE2 Software Wal-Mart Week Generator" Addin is checked.
- Done
